Help
Answers to common questions about KodaCay.
What is KodaCay?
KodaCay is a store for independent PC games made with the help of generative AI. Every game page explains exactly how AI was used, so you can decide what you want to play.
What does “demo mode” and “sample listing” mean?
The games you see right now are fictional examples that show how the store will work. They can't be bought or downloaded. When KodaCay runs without its database (demo mode), sign-in is switched off and your wishlist is kept in your browser only.
How do AI disclosures work?
Developers must describe how they used AI (art, audio, music, voice, writing or code) before a game can be reviewed. Moderators check the disclosure as part of the review.
Which platforms are supported?
Windows PCs for now. A desktop launcher app is planned later.
Are downloads safe?
Every game file is scanned for malware on a separate machine and checked by a person before anyone can download it. Download links are private and expire after a few minutes.
I make games. How much does it cost?
Your first published game is free once your developer account is verified. Each additional game costs a one-time $9.99 after it's approved. You can sell games or give them away. On paid sales KodaCay proposes a 15% commission. Updates are always free. Your earnings are paid out through Stripe. See selling on KodaCay for the full picture.
What about refunds?
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying a game. See the refund policy for details.
